Who This Policy Applies To
Professionals (business users)
This Policy describes our practices when you register for a Styld account, subscribe, publish a site, manage clients, or otherwise use the Services as a Professional or Account Owner.
End Clients (consumers who book or buy)
If you book an appointment, purchase a product, pay a deposit, upload photos, leave a review, or otherwise interact with a Professional through a Styld-powered booking page or site, two parties may process your information:
- The Professional — generally decides why and how your information is used for the appointment or purchase (they are often the “business” or “controller” under privacy laws).
- Styld — hosts the technology, processes bookings and payments, sends operational messages, and uses information as described in this Policy (often as a “service provider” / “processor” on the Professional’s behalf, and as a controller for our own operational and product purposes).
If you have questions about how a specific Professional uses your data, contact that Professional directly and review any privacy notice they provide on their site. This Policy explains Styld’s practices.
Summary
- We collect information you provide, information collected automatically, and information from service providers (e.g., payment processors).
- We use information to operate the Services, process bookings and payments, communicate with you, improve our products, and comply with law.
- We share information with vendors, payment partners, and others as described below—not for selling SMS opt-in data.
- Professionals are responsible for their own client lists, marketing consents, and compliance when they use Styld to contact clients.
- You may have rights to access, delete, or correct personal information depending on where you live.

End Clients may provide name, email, phone, booking preferences, photos, payment card details (processed by our payment partners—not stored in full by Styld in free-text fields), promo codes, and review content.
1.b Information from other sources
We may receive information from:
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) — payment method tokens, transaction status, Connect account verification, fraud signals, payout history;
- App stores (Apple, Google) — subscription status and purchase receipts;
- Authentication providers (e.g., Sign in with Apple) — account identifiers permitted by your settings;
- Other Users — e.g., when a Professional imports or adds client contact information they already lawfully possess;
- Identity, fraud, and compliance vendors — to verify accounts and reduce abuse, where permitted by law;
- Public or licensed sources — to validate business information.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers except where you voluntarily provide them for tax or payout compliance through our payment partners.
1.c Information we collect automatically
When you use the Services, we and our vendors may automatically collect:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Device & usage | Device type, operating system, browser, app version, language, IP address, pages/screens viewed, features used, crash logs, performance data |
| Identifiers | Mobile advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) where available and permitted; app instance IDs |
| Location | Approximate location from IP address; precise location only with your permission (e.g., for Tap to Pay on iPhone or fraud prevention) |
| Cookies & similar tech | On websites, cookies, pixels, and local storage for session management, analytics, and preferences |
We use this information for analytics, security, debugging, product improvement, and—where permitted—marketing measurement.
1.d Information we derive
We may infer information from what we collect—for example, your general geographic region from IP address, business category from onboarding selections, or feature usage patterns to improve the Services.
2. How We Use the Information We Collect
We use personal information for business and commercial purposes, including to:
- Provide the Services — create accounts, host sites, schedule bookings, send reminders, process payments and payouts, display analytics, and enable Tap to Pay where supported;
- Communicate with you — service announcements, security alerts, support responses, and—with consent or as permitted—marketing about Styld features;
- Personalize and improve — remember preferences, develop new features, conduct research, and fix bugs;
- Process transactions — subscriptions, booking payments, product orders, refunds, and chargebacks;
- Verify identity and prevent fraud — monitor for abuse, enforce Terms, and protect Users;
- Comply with law — respond to legal process, tax reporting obligations through payment partners, and regulatory requests;
- Aggregate and de-identify — create statistics that do not identify individuals.
Professionals: You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to upload client data and to send marketing or reminder messages through Styld, including obtaining required consents under TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and similar laws.
End Clients: We use your information to complete bookings and payments you request, send transactional messages related to your appointment or order, and for purposes described in this Policy.
If you provide a professional license or government ID for verification, we use it for identity verification, fraud prevention, compliance, and enforcement of our agreements—not for unrelated marketing.
3. When We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
| Recipient / situation | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Service providers & vendors | Hosting (e.g., cloud infrastructure), email/SMS delivery, analytics, customer support tools, security, error monitoring, payment processing (Stripe), app distribution |

| Professionals & End Clients | As directed by the Services (e.g., booking details shared between a Professional and their client) |
| With your consent or at your direction | Integrations you enable or data you choose to export |

| Professional advisors | Lawyers, accountants, insurers, auditors |
| Business transfers | Merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets |
| Aggregated / de-identified data | Analytics and reporting that does not reasonably identify you |
Important: We do not sell or share SMS/text message opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing. Message content and recipient numbers are used to deliver communications you or the Professional initiate through the platform.
We may disclose End Client information to the Professional whose site or booking flow you used, and to Stripe and other payment partners to complete transactions.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We and our partners may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies on our marketing site and, where applicable, logged-in web experiences to:
- Understand usage and improve the Services;
- Measure advertising effectiveness;
- Provide relevant Styld marketing on third-party platforms.
Depending on your jurisdiction, some of these activities may be considered “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under state privacy laws.
Your choices:
- Adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies (some features may not work properly);
- Use industry opt-out tools such as Digital Advertising Alliance where applicable;
- Enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar legally recognized signals on supported pages;
- Opt out of promotional emails via unsubscribe links;

6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, and comply with legal obligations (tax, payment records, dispute resolution). Retention periods vary by data type—for example, active account data is kept while your account is open; backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion.
When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information except where retention is required by law or legitimate business needs (e.g., fraud prevention, chargeback records maintained by payment partners).
Professionals: Client data in your account may be deleted when you delete your account; export data before deletion if you need a copy.
7. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
Payment card data is processed by PCI-compliant payment partners; do not enter full card numbers in free-text notes fields.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided information to us, contact moustapha@mousappsllc.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Professionals must not use the Services to market to or collect information from children in violation of applicable law.
9. Links to Other Sites
Tenant sites and the Services may link to third-party websites or services (social media, payment pages, external content). Their privacy practices govern those sites—not this Policy. We encourage you to read their policies.
10. International Users; U.S. Focus
Styld is intended for use in the United States and its territories. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to processing and storage in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.
Creating an account from a jurisdiction where the Services are not offered may violate our Terms of Service.
11. Additional Information for U.S. State Residents
Certain U.S. states (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and others) provide residents with additional rights and require specific disclosures (“State Privacy Laws”). This section applies if you reside in a state with such laws.
