1. Who this applies to
Stylists and salon owners who create a Styld account and use the app to manage their business.
Clients and visitors who book appointments or browse a stylist’s public Styld booking site.
2. Information we collect
Account and profile information
- Name, email address, and login credentials
- Business name, contact details, address, timezone, and social links you choose to add
- Profile and branding content for your booking site
Business and booking data
- Appointments, calendar availability, services, pricing, and style catalog information
- Client names, contact details, booking history, notes, and related records you store in Styld
- Inquiries submitted through your booking site contact forms
- Reviews submitted by clients, when enabled
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe may collect payment method details, billing information, and transaction records needed to process deposits, checkout, and payouts through Stripe Connect.
Subscription information
Styld Pro subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We receive subscription status, product identifiers, and purchase-related metadata linked to your account so we can enable Pro features and keep your booking site live when published.
Usage and device information
- App and site usage needed to operate the service (for example, page views on booking sites)
- Device type, browser type, and general technical logs for security and troubleshooting
- Analytics on our marketing website (styldd.com) through Vercel Analytics
Photos and files
If you upload style cover images or booking-related photos, those files are stored in our cloud infrastructure (Supabase Storage) and displayed on your booking site as you configure.
3. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Styld app and booking websites
- Process bookings, payments, subscriptions, and payouts
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Send service-related communications (for example, booking confirmations you enable for clients)
- Enforce subscription requirements for live booking sites
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run Styld, including with:
- Supabase — database, authentication, storage, and backend infrastructure
- Stripe — payment processing and Connect payouts to stylists
- RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management
- Apple — App Store purchases and subscription billing
- Vercel — hosting for styldd.com and stylist booking sites
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Styld, our users, or others.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you cancel a subscription, your booking site may go offline, but your business data may remain stored so you can republish after resubscribing.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
You can update much of your business and profile information directly in the Styld app. Clients who booked through a stylist’s site should contact that stylist for appointment-related requests; stylists may also contact us for account assistance.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children
Styld is intended for business use by stylists and salon professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. International users
Styld is operated from the United States. If you use Styld from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
